How do I start a data business with AidaPay?
Download AidaPay, open Account Settings and tap Become an agent. A small one-time upgrade fee (shown in the app) moves you to agent rates. Fund your wallet, then buy data and airtime for your customers as soon as they pay you - no bulk buying.
How much can I make selling data?
You earn two ways: agent cashback on every plan (for example ₦1.18 on 120MB Whatsapp - 1 Month), plus whatever markup you add when you sell to your customer. The calculator on this page shows both.
Do I need to buy data in bulk?
No. You buy each bundle at agent rates at the moment you sell it, so there is no stock to hold and nothing to lose if a customer changes their mind.
Can I sell from my own website or app?
Yes. Business accounts can plug into the AidaPay VTU API and sell data, airtime, electricity and cable TV from their own website or app at the same agent rates.
Which networks and services can I sell?
MTN, Airtel, Glo and 9mobile data and airtime, electricity tokens for every major DisCo, DStv, GOtv and StarTimes subscriptions, and exam PINs.
What is the Agent Cashback Target?
A monthly bonus for agents. Each step on the ladder has a cashback target; reach it before the month ends and AidaPay pays you back a share of the cashback you earned, then moves you up a step with a bigger target and a better share. Terms and conditions apply.
